Nordica to recruit new crews

Nordica announces the recruitment of dozens of new aviation specialists. The airline is expanding and needs new colleagues for its Tallinn and Vilnius bases, and therefore invites those interested to an open-doors recruitment day at Ülemiste Keskus on Valentine’s Day, February 14th. The future employees will be provided with free training and enjoy an exciting career in the sky as announced on the group’s career site jobs.nagroup.ee.

Being a part of the cabin crew is exciting – no routine, the possibility to travel and lots of responsibility in reassuring travelers’ well-being and safety. The idea of becoming cabin crew attract people. A similar recruitment day will take place in Vilnius on March the 1st. The company’s Head of Marketing, Communications and Sustainability, Toomas Uibo invites everyone interested to apply for the open position and reassures: “You will definitely cope with this job. Anyone who will come to the recruitment day might be offered a job right away.” He adds that he himself started in aviation two decades ago as a private pilot and flight instructor, and then gradually – with the accumulation of experience and knowledge – moved forward and created added value for the company. ”Aviation is not at all as complicated as it might sound,” Uibo he invites one to join the team. Saara Pius and Franz Malmsten – both beloved singers and actors – also take part in the recruitment campaign inviting future aviation talents to apply for the post in their hilarious video appeal. Both Tallinn and Vilnius bases will recruit 25 new talents.

There are currently over 250 job offers in the various bases available at the Nordic Aviation Group, which Nordica is part of. The airline is active in more than seven seven countries having bases – in additioin to Tallinn – also in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Aarhus, Turku, Vilnius, Lisbon, Hamburg ja Munich.

The Nordic Aviation Group, Nordica and Xfly are both part of, was founded in 2015 with the decision of the State of Estonia. Both airlines of the group operate flights for mayor European airlines on the basis of long-term strategic co-operation contracts – to help them grow and develop their business. The mayor customers of the companies are market players such as SAS, TAP Portugal, MARABU and several others. The Xfly operates Tallinn –  Stockholm route for the SAS for example, and Nordica flies charter flights to Egypt and the Canaries on the request of local tour operators. The two airlines do not handle ticket-sales to end-users.
